1999 – 2016
In 1999 Hasbro officially rebranded the Jurassic Park series with the release of Jurassic Park: Dinosaurs. Jurassic Park: Dinosaurs was a sporadic toy line that consisted of mostly repaints of old Kenner molds. The theatrical release of Jurassic Park III added a new series consisting of hard plastic dinosaurs as well as officially scaling down the toy line from 4.5” inches down to the now standard 3.75”. After a few years, Hasbro released a new Jurassic Park series, mostly consisting of mostly repacks. Not until Jurassic World’s theatrical release in 2015 did Hasbro actually expand the toy line with new molds and a vast variety of assortments.
